Drinking Water 101

The goal of this one-day seminar is to provide useful water-field technical knowledge to nontechnical staff and newcomers to the field. Through facilitated interaction with presenters, attendees will achieve a solid sense of the drinking water field’s many facets, and boost their confidence in decision making and addressing customers’ questions. Key discussions will take place about supply sources, treatment and distribution, regulations, the real-value versus the cost of drinking water, droughts, the future reality of drinking water, and more. This seminar is held in conjunction with the Effective Leadership To Drive Regulatory Compliance Seminar. *While AWWA has taken care to ensure the qualifications of our partnered instructors for this seminar, the opinions, comments and other views are not necessarily those of AWWA nor its officers, directors, planning committee or staff.
