Water Loss Seminar - Best Practice Water Audits and Loss Control Programs

How much water is your utility losing to leakage, customer meter error or water theft? How can your utility determine the cost of un-captured revenue from non-revenue water (NRW)? A number of US regions now have state or regional agency water auditing requirements in place. Unfortunately, most agencies with a water audit requirement do not provide a means for comprehensive training of water utility personnel. This seminar, facilitated by experts from the AWWA Water Loss Control Committee, will help utilities establish accountability by giving attendees instruction on the AWWA Standard Water Audit compilation and data validation process.

Attendees will learn the methods and technologies to economically control water and revenue losses by managing leakage and pressure to save water and optimizing revenue via revenue protection programs. Be sure to bring a laptop or personal device to the seminar! Attendees who have completed a water audit for their utility using the AWWA Free Water Audit Software are encouraged to bring an electronic copy of the audit.
