Stormwater Seminar 2017

Co-located with the 12th IWA Specialist Conference on Instrumentation, Control and Automation (ICA2017), WEF will host a 2 day Stormwater Seminar on the use of smart systems/big data for innovative approaches to stormwater management.

The seminar will focus on the following topics:

Prepare and understand how to use big data in stormwater management programs
Using stormwater big data to make local effective management decisions
How to bring big data into your current stormwater program and how to embrace innovative management techniques
Understanding the regulatory climate around big data
Reviewing lessons learned from traditional monitoring and planning for the big data change and impact
Can intelligent systems and big data assist in closing the stormwater funding gap?
Understanding smart stormwater systems – Case studies on barriers to adoption and how they can be countered
